When does the Balinesia Lu’au take place?

The Balinesia Lu’au is open weekly, generally every Friday evening and held at the Jimbaran Hub.  Address: Jl. Karang Mas, Jimbaran, Kec. Kuta Sel., Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361

Do I have to book a ticket in advance?

Tickets must be purchased in advance via the Balinesia Luau website online booking platform, found: (  There is a limited quantity of tickets on sale for every event so it is recommended to book early to avoid disappointment.

How do I receive my ticket?

Upon booking online and purchasing, you will receive a ticket with a barcode that can be downloaded to your phone or this can also be printed out and must be shown on arrival to gain entrance to the event.  The organiser reserves the right to refuse admission.

What's included in the Balinesia Luau Classic package?

The standard package includes a welcome Balinese Gift, a fresh flower Lei, Traditional Balinese Water Blessing ceremony, a tropical Welcome Drink, Learn the traditional Balinese dance, experience an array of Traditional Arts and Crafts including a life size & childrens Ogoh Ogoh parade, a Wayang Puppet show and face painting, as well as get the chance to meet the cast of the Balinesia Lu'ua extravaganza show.  Includes an Indonesian buffet and freeflow soft drinks and mocktails.

Can we arrange transport? If so what locations can be organised?

Pickup and drop off to the venue can be arranged at an additional cost for any area, please contact our reservation team for further assistance and clarification.

What is the event schedule for the evening?

4.45pm - Doors Open  (4.30pm for VIP guests)

5pm - Cultural Arts/Crafts & Face Painting

5.15pm - The Balinesia Lu'au Welcome

5.20pm - Ogoh Ogoh Parade

5.45pm - Balinese Wayang Show, Dance Display

Are online booking fees associated with the ticket pricing?

The ticket price does is subject to a booking fee that is incurred when booking through the website platform. There is an additional 2.5% fee charged.

Will an event ever be cancelled?

All events and times are weather permitting and are subject to change without notice.   Having said this, if it rains during the event, we will relocate the guests under cover and serve drinks until it is viable to go back outside and finish the performance.  If it continues to rain for the remainder of the evening, then please review our terms and conditions policy here.

Is alcohol served at the event?

Yes. There is a bar serving alcohol for classic ticketed guests to purchase whilst VIP guests will have a free flow alcohol open bar serving beers, cocktails. All guests may purchase wines and spirits on the evening. All guests drinking must be 21 years of age and older and must present a picture ID when entering the venue.  If there is no ID shown, then the event reserves the right to refuse the alcohol package to the guest.

What is the cancellation policy? 

Customers will receive a full refund. Customers will also receive a full refund in case of the event organiser cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.

How long does the show last?

Doors are open from 4:45pm with the show festivities ending around 8:30pm (Please note that start and end times may vary slightly). VIP guests are granted early access to the venue from 4.30pm.

Does the Luau have a waitlist OPTION if a date is sold out?

Yes we do have a waitlist policy in place.  If the date is sold out, please call our Online reservations (+62) 0822 3659 0408) team or alternatively email with your request for tickets.  The website is updated in real time in relation to ticket sales.

How are general admission, children and VIP guests identified when purchasing drinks?

Each ticket category will have their own coloured wristband for our bar staff to identify what drinks can be given.  In addition, the VIP guests will have their own dedicated drinks server to take orders and bring to their table, if guests so wish.

How does the VIP package differ from the standard offering?

The VIP package includes early access to the venue, choose to join in on the Ogoh-Ogoh parade, priority table seating, a dedicated food and drinks servers for your table, an authentic all you can eat Indonesian buffet with Babi Guling, a 3 hour free flow drinks package of tropical cocktails and locally sourced beers, an exclusive photo with the whole cast of the show on stage and unlimited prints at the Photo booth, coupled with all the classic package inclusions.

Can children select the VIP package?

Yes, VIP tickets can be allocated to children (7 and over) at a reduced ticket price, due to having a non-alcohol package. An infant will not be allocated a seat, although prior highchairs can be accommodated if advance notice is given, which is free, or able to sit on the lap.

Do you have to pay for infants 6 and under?

No, all children 6 and under are admitted free providing they do not take a seat at the Lu’au. Highchairs can be available on request, although are limited in quantity.  

Is there a dress code?

YES, and whilst this is not compulsory of course, we encourage you to join in the vibrancy of our event in Island life inspired style of TROPICAL!

What are the terms of the event?

Packages and pricing is subject to change without prior notice or obligation. 

What food will be served at the event?

The Buffet Menu is set, but may vary based on availability or seasonality of dishes or allergies.  Contact the team for any clarifications.

What is the legal age to be served alcohol in Bali?

Yes. Guests must be 21 years of age and older to drink. A member of staff may ask for age verification by presenting a picture ID. If there is no ID shown, then the event management reserves the right to refuse the alcohol package to the guest.

Do you provide group discounts?

Yes, we provide a 10% discount for bookings made for 20+ guests in one order within the Classic and VIP ticket categories only.  Children pricing does not count to receive discounts within the order.

Does my infant get a seat at the tables?

Depending on the capacity, infants must be on the lap, although the Balinesia Lu'au management will do all they can to facilitate a highchair request or provide another seat to accommodate infants with families.
